Psychonauts OC - Personal Project

I'm a big Psychonauts fan. I just love, how weird and lovable the characters are, the wonky artstyle, and how mental health is portrayed in the game and in a comprehensible manner, even through level design!

Anyway, so I created an OC myself:
Rita and Tiko as well as a scaling ability for the game. Rita uses clairvoyance to see the world from Tikos eyes, while he is exploring and spying. Working with him can be challenging, though, as he's not the brightest candle on the cake.

In theory, Tiko can be scaled as big as a horse and used for transportation or even riding - but Rita's not that skilled yet. Instead, she lets him fight alongside her when visiting someone else's mind to fight off some panic attacks, censors, or other enemies threatening the operation.

Tiko is based on the original Psychonauts lizard asset. The scaling ability is represented by the pink icon, in a format resembling how it would have been shown in the original game, while selecting an ability.

Character Concepts. The 3rd one had a nice outstanding esoteric and disco-y vibe and was therefore chosen.

The base idea was to create a character with a companion. I'm very fond of lizards and like many other Psychonaut characters, one special ability would be great. The introduction of "scaling" as a game mechanic seemed interesting, so I went on with that.
